We needed new dishware at our house and we had heard about Corell. Went on line and looked at tons of different stuff and was all set to purchase Corell from eBay when I thought I would also check Amazon. I was amazed to see pricing was much better on Amazon and so were the selections being offered. We were all set to purchase one type when I read the reviews on Simple Lines Squares. Wow this stuff is great. Pretty, and much more space on both the salad and dinner plates. I mean a huge difference. We love this stuff and it is easy to maintain, desn't chip and the extras are also great too. We love the squares. They stack well in the cubbards as well as the dishwasher. Cannot go wrong with the stuff. I am a believer now

I wrote a report about this product a few weeks ago (see the bottom of this post) after I got my set. I wanted to write a follow-up after using these dishes. I loved them when I got them, and I love them more now. Here's why:
1. They wash up so easily. Oatmeal nuked in a bowl, and the left over's dried out in the bowl, will wash up with very little effort at all.
2. Again with the oatmeal in the microwave... I cook my oatmeal for four-five minutes on high in the microwave. After five minutes, oatmeal bubbling up the sides of the bowl, I can handle the bowl att he very top with my fingertips and not get burned. The bowl is very warm tot he touch, but not scorching hot. No potholder, no hand towels needed to take the bowl from the microwave. The same applies when reheating foods on the plates. Not so with the mugs however. The mugs are made of porcelain, and they WILL burn you if you heat to a boil in the microwave.
3. The set is so stylish. It is elegant on the table. I've never really fussed with the dishes on the table, but now, I place them and want to move them around to look nice.
4. The companion pieces. I've purchased the hot pads for the counters. And the melamine 11" oblong serving tray. There are not as many companion pieces to Simple Lines, but I believe as time goes on, the line will grow.
5. The plates and bowls WILL<--- are surviving just fine in my kitchen with all of the rough handling that people in my house subject them to.
This set is a good value, and will last for years. They are built for it.

I purchased two sets. They arrived well packaged - nothing damaged, and in 100% shape. This set is beautiful, and strong. We are not clumsy people, but fine china, or even tough earthenware would not stand up in our family. My grandmother and mother both had Corelle. But make no mistake... this is NOT Grammy's Corelle. Well, yes, it is. But this new line of Corelle sexy, sleek, modern, and well designed. Best of all, it cleans up so easily. I can't emphasize that enough -- it cleans up easily, and you can tell it is clean -- it squeaks in your hands when rinsing. I give this product a 100%. I'll purchase the accompanying larger bowls, and will buy companion pieces as they become available.
Oh wait....... did I mention Corelle sells this pattern as OPEN STOCK in most major supermarkets! I've already purchased four extra dinner plates as I can never have enough of them. This is a good, solid purchase.
