I've been on the hunt for new plates for a long time. I wanted to go with Corelle because they are lightweight and durable. They arrived fast and extremely well packaged. No broken plates!! The pattern is great and the colors are vibrant and outstanding. These are more then I could have hoped for! I would buy them again and again!

Just a touch of retro appeal and Corelle is so sturdy! I just wish more pieces were available in this pattern as I would love berry bowls.

I got two sets of the Chocolate Mint Correlle dishes for Christmas in 2009 and just recently purchased a second set. These dishes are great! They aren't very thick - which allow me to store them easily in my limited cabinet space. However, when I place hot food on them, the other side of the dish can become quite warm.
As for the design, I don't think they are overly feminine - my boyfriend likes them and he's usually pretty picky. The great part is that the blue/green design matches my kitchen decor.
I wish that this set included the luncheon plates as well - these need to be purchased separately and aren't always available on Amazon.

I ordered 3 boxes of this 16-piece, Chocolate Mint, and every single box is missing a "6-3/4-inch Bread & Butter Plate". It is the 15-piece set, not 16-piece set as stated.
The color doesn't look so bright as seen in the picture but the color fade and not so sharp.
